Become a Host Site

We conduct at least 36 workshops every year and are currently selecting host sites for 2007. All that's required is a community room that can seat at least 50 to 60 people and you be able to do local promotion. We bring all the gear and workbooks plus for hosting you receive a sound system consultation on your own sound system. You can serve both your community and your church by hosting a HOW-TO Sound workshop. Please contact Hector at hector@fitsandstarts.com or 732-741-1275 for more information.

Fits & Starts Productions LLC is pleased to announce our 2007 tour of HOW-To Church Sound Workshops^TM. These day long hands-on workshops are designed specifically for church sound system and portable media volunteers.

This Saturday 8-hour "SOUND CHECK WORKSHOP" is for sound volunteers who need the proper technical skills to improve the audio quality of their services. You'll not only learn things like mic placement and feedback reduction, but also sound check essentials and how to reduce the volume of loud musicians. We feature a live band at the end of the workshops, and you'll get to act as road crew to help set-up, tune-up, and mix the band over a 5,000 watt sound system. As a bonus, we also include recording principals for your own Internet podcast or CD recording ministry.

The fee for this workshop is $149 per person which includes a workbook, continental breakfast and a lunch served by the host church. There's a discount rate of $119 per person for orders placed at least 14 days in advance. We're also offering a 5+Team Discount of $99 per person when you register five or more attendees at least 14 days in advance (or $119 for 5+ Team members registered later than 14 days in advance).
